NEWS NEWS NEWS!! Grammy Nomination!!
Congrats to Ashley McBryde and her Griggs playing bandmate Chris Harris for their Grammy Nomination for Best Country Album.  Best of Luck!!!
Chris playing his Griggs 12 fret Adirondack w/ reclaimed 1800’s cut Brazilian Rosewood with Slotted headstock.  Chris is an amazing player, singer and songwriter.  He won all the major contests in his teens including Winfield.  He actually traded a Gibson F5 he won 15 years ago at the Merlefest Mandolin contest as partial trade on his Griggs.  I’m glad he got his dream guitar he deserves it.

Griggs Guitars are hand made by Josh Haddix and James Griggs.  Josh is a master luthier with over 20 years experience.  He is an incredible luthier and I am very fortunate  to get to work with him.  I consider his craftmanship, fretwork, set up, and intonation to be as fine as anyone in the world.   - J Griggs

Andrew built this guitar in my shop to my basic specs.  It’s a first effort so it’s not cosmetically perfect but it sounds great and is structurally sound, I made sure of that. He did the Relic Light Sunburst and he calls the unusual color and finish look a "happy mistake."   As long as he likes it thats what matters. I am really proud of Andrew and Emily, who met each other both playing with my long time band.  They are great friends and have come a long way.
